SIM jacking for bribes by teleco employee
Guilty plea of the employee accepting bribes for SIM swapping working at the unidentified telecommunications company. Why is the company not identified? This plea seems strange as if the US Attorney’s office is protecting the company.

This is bizarre. The criminal indictment says only “Company-1.”

I’ve looked at a dozen articles and whichever carrier it is, they did a good job of covering their tracks. Many state’s protect the name of a crime victim, but I don’t see it in the federal system.

Conversely, the US Supreme Court has said that the public has a right to access court files. You have to wonder why the press isn’t naming the victim when their poor security has put the public at risk.
