One of the better plug adapters
http://www.mogics.com/?page_id=2935 look at this.
As many of you know, currently I am considering the Wonpro Nano as the best plug adapter so I will compare it to that. Advantages: the EU height solution is brilliant. The Wonpro Nano solves it by allowing to screw out the plugs which makes it a bit tricky to plug it in. This one? This one just fits in a grounded Schuko outlet whole. Good trick if I ever saw one. Disadvantages: only one plug instead of two and only US at that. However, they have a ridiculously small USB charger/power strip with as many as four universal plugs and two USB as well http://techpp.com/2016/01/14/best-tr...-strip-mogics/ for pre order.
This definitely gets the coveted "recommended by chx" award
I ordered a Mogics Bagel inc. the adapter.
Also, this seems to come from the same company who created the http://www.card-tec.com/ Card adapters and chargers which are mildly interesting too but not enough to buy them.

What does it do with ground pins when plugged into donut/bagel? The Kickstarter diagram for donut makes it look like US ground pin has a place but the donut's plug just has an unpolarized two prong plug. Bagel diagram shows two prong universal but the video shows grounded devices being plugged in. Do the ground points just hang out in the middle of the bagel (where if it were a real bagel, cream cheese would go?)
Just curious. The specs on the diagrams show it isn't suitable for power hungry things like hair dryers or flat irons. I imagine most would probably use grounded laptop chargers?
The plug adapter definitely looks interesting for those loose European grounded sockets.

It's somewhat visible from the video but also from the plug and the plug adapter: it doesn't does not do anything with the third plug. If you have a grounded laptop adapter then I am sorry for you; get a two prong one. From the video it seems yes the third plug goes where the cream cheese would be.
Almost all international adapters allow for plugging in grounded plugs and then cheerily ignoring the third plug. Quite the disaster, yes. Would be very interesting to see whether this plug adapter concept could be adapted into a full blown grounded Schuko adapter with a fold out UK grounding pin and perhaps with some real engineering trickery a grounded AUS plug as well. Would be a considerable feat of design/engineering!

We have been through that in numerous threads I even wrote you all a wiki at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trave...er-advice.html tl;dr: the kirkland is a knockoff, if you want a knockoff you can get one much cheaper from China or just buy the original which has fixed its UK problems with an added switch and got a very nice cap as well (this upgrade happened semi-recently, some time in the last 3-5 years, can't pinpoint when).
