Thank you, both. I have the T-Mobile version with only two pins. I do not normally keep my phone in a case, so a replacement back or sticker would be best for me.

Same style of charger is available for $32 with Prime shipping on Amazon. My favorite style charger for use on a nightstand.
This one is back in stock and Prime-eligible.

Unfortunately, one of the ones in this style purchased off eBay died after almost two months' use. I bought this as a temporary replacement, as the eBay seller is being difficult.

I now have six qi chargers at home, and one at work. I think I'm done shopping now. Now to convince more manufacturers to produce qi-compatible phones...
I ordered that one - and it sucks. Very slow charging, despite its claim of 3 coils. Also, regular disconnects on my G3.

Powerbot PB1020. $14. Just got mine and I love it. Very small for travel, and plugs into USB port. You would just need a USB to AC wall charger adapter.

Naturally, it's exactly the same one purchased through eBay (including packaging). They work very well with my Samsung devices (and Nexus 7 tablets). Sorry to hear it doesn't work well with the G3.

The problem with hockey puck-style qi chargers is that they are very finicky with tablets (in my experience). The new one being offered by Qi-Infinity looks promising as a travel charger. Hopefully the price will drop. I would be interested at $35, not $45.

I'm already pretty satisfied with how quickly my existing chargers charge my phones and tablets.

Has its own internal battery. Makes it even more convenient in my opinion.
I have this one for myself and the non-battery version for Mrs. pa3lsvt. Both work with my Nexus 5 & 7 as well as her Nexus 5. The USB charging output makes it a universal battery as well as a Qi battery.

(For reference, the branded Nexus charger only works with my phone's case - my 7 and her 5 have thicker cases.)

I think I may buy a qi power bank to use on the golf course. Phone and power bank go together into a cup holder. Then I simply take it out when I need yardage.

Is there a Qi charger that doesn't have that stupid ticking sound? I have very good hearing and it drives me nuts! Anyone?
