Alternative to XCOM Global for Greece
I am doing 1 week in Greece and the hotel only has wifi in reception.
My cell is a Sprint Droid so does not have a sim option.
I will be online most of the night.
I saw xcom globals website and am ready to get their USB unlimited.
Are there and downsides to Xcom and are there any cheaper alternatives?

You will do better with your own unlocked device and a prepaid SIM. Rather than spending less money, I would suggest you spend a little bit more. Rent a mobile hotspot device (such as a MiFi). That way you can use the data connect with your mobile phone as well (via wifi).
