Been trying Lastpass over the last couple of days, fantastic product on a PC with both FF and IE. wished I'd moved to this a long time ago.

iPad is less slick, but that's down to the locked down environment that apple enforce. Using the dedicated browser works well enough though.

So all in all very pleased with the solution. Now to slowly change my raft of passwords to something more secure. Thanks for the helpful advice.

Glad you like it. LastPass makes it easy to figure out which accounts duplicate passwords. On a computer browser, click on LastPass, go to Tools, then Security Check.

I love Last Pass! Just make sure you use a strong master password. If you recall, they had a security breach this year and compromised some users usernames and passwords. Using a strong master password with Last Pass is a must to mitigate such issues in the future.

some good info in this article:

Thanks for the article. Been playing with the iPad browser, works well but seems a tad slower than safari. That could be completely physciological as it has a very prominent loading status bar which you just watch!

It does seem to bring most functionality to the iPad though which is nice.

Correct Horse Battery Staple password

I wonder how many people that saw that cartoon are going to use "correcthorsebatterystaple" as their password? Will password cracking programs now add that to the list of passwords to automatically check, like 1234?
