Newsstand is really just a special type of folder in the app launching interface (aka Springboard) where the apps (publications) inside it can be subscribed to and update automatically each day.
Since you can't put a folder inside a folder in iOS, and Newsstand is a folder (more or less), it makes sense that you can't put Newsstand in a folder.

The reason for that is probably technical rather than just Apple wanting to shove newsstand in your face.

That is a bug. You're not supposed to be able to do that, and it actually crashes springboard if you attempt to open it from inside a folder.

Just a note of caution: I know two people who had the restore fail after the upgrade. When reattaching the phone to try again, iTunes "helpfully" did an automatic backup of the empty phone, wiping out the real backup.
I'd suggest doing a backup first, and then copying it somewhere else. Directories are listed here.

Does anyone know if it's possible to attach a document or picture to an email? I want to reply to an email on my phone and attach a picture to the reply (so I can't just use the send email feature because that creates a new email).

Hit reply, then switch to the photo app. Copy the picture you want, switch back to mail, and paste it into your reply.

Since upgrading to iOS5 my Sennheiser MM200 Stereo Bluetooth headset no longer controls the volume or song forward/reverse. It picks up the stereo sound, but I have lost all control function. Sucks when I am on the treadmill and want to skip a song.
Anyone have the problem? Any solutions out there?

Any 3GS users happy with IOS 5?
I was worried about IOS4 and approached the upgrade to that with great trepidation. Five however strikes me as a bit of an upgrade too far for the 3GS? Of course, I've just gone and bought and iPAD 2 with 5 pre installed so I may be forced to do the upgrade.....
