The 16gb will go to my dad as a birthday present.
Two 32gb's will be used by me, Mrs. Swede and the kids. And the other three 32gb's will be sold on CL to offset the cost of one of the ones we keep (maybe 1.5).

Don't count on it . . . anything ordered after 1:30am Eastern this morning seems to have gone to "AUDIT ALERT" status. They most likely ran out of stock around that time.

Ordered one 32gb at HP SMB which I expect will be canceled. Ordered one 32gb via Kmart at full price and they are crediting the difference back to my card (so $149+tax purchase price) and one 16gb from OnSale (Macmall/PCMall) via Amazon. I expect those two to come through. The 32gb we will keep and use when traveling so as not to bring our laptops and the 16gb will be a gift to my father. This should be perfect for him to send the occasional email and get family pics/videos.

As someone who is close to the matter, to see the current buying frenzy actually saddens me. If HP had sold the TouchPad for a reasonable price (say $250-300) to begin with, it might have actually been a successful long-term product.

Not sure about the accuracy, but it appears it have costed close to $300 to make a single TouchPad.
I was happy to pick one of these up for $100. Should be a fun toy for a while.

Ad the subject of You Tube parody already. Hitler finds out that HP is discontinuing the Touch Pad.
