Best way to take notes about hotel stays for future reference
I asked this in the app thread with no response so I'll try my own thread. I'm looking for an App that can populate a map with hotels or allow you to enter your own pinpoint and take notes about the Hotel. I travel to the same area often and want to be able to recall which hotels were nice and which were not.
OR any other ideas you guys use to do this would be great. I'm a young business traveler trying to learn the best methods. Maybe Google Maps and make pinpoints? An app that would use Google Maps API and allow you to review locations and search previous locations would be elite.
Thanks guys!

I've played around with Google Maps to keep track of places I've been, but I've only populated them from a laptop, not a phone. Maybe it's a pain to do that from a handheld device, which is why you did not receive a response in the other thread.
EDIT: Perhaps a social networking tool like Foursquare would have some functionality here?

Google maps will do it, but don't know how painful it will be from a phone. From a computer it's a piece of cake, pin your pin on the map, add text, pictures, etc.
Next time you go back to the area, just click on the pins to see what you wrote.

evernote
Evernote was supposed to somehow map the items with either a gps tag, an iphone photo with a gps tag (or android) or a city name, pair. I use it to hold on to my reservations, and then I simply type in the names of people I interact with, room number received, notes, etc.
With iphone and android apps, it is very easy to tag/add info on the fly at say front desk, at a restaurant, etc.
check if the gps tag is enabled yet

Great idea on Evernote. I LOVE Evernote. I have it fully integrated with work and have all my PDF's searchable and everything.
Anyways, also Google+ is also good for this so now you can "check in" and see reviews you've left for places. I think this could be useful too. I'm going to try EN though b/c I think that might be a good option as well.
