Looking for To-Do app for Android that works with Google Apps / Mac
We have switched the office over to Google Apps for an email server and Macs have replaced most PCs.
In an ideal world, the app I'm looking for would:
Does such an app exist? Or something that comes close?
In an ideal world, the app I'm looking for would:
- Sync with Google Apps and my Mac (syncing can all be done via Google Apps) -- I'm using Mail as my main email client but use Gmail every once in a while;
- Have a native app and thus doesn't require that I be connected to the web to input tasks on either G2 or Mac;
- Is hierarchical (each task can have sub-tasks and those can have sub-tasks, etc.);
- Be shared with my assistant (so she can enter tasks); and
- Allows for delegated tasks (so that I can lay out an overall task and assign my assistant a task or sub-tasks of the task).
Does such an app exist? Or something that comes close?

1) Has a Google Mail and iGoogle add-on
2) Works in browser offline using google gears
3) Very flexible list management & tagging
4) You can assign and mail in tasks and share lists
5) See (4)
With a little work it should do all you need!
Oh - and there is an Android App.

Thanks. I installed Astrid but don't see hierarchy.
RTM could work. Hierarchy would come from having different lists, although I have lots of different projects (e.g., when a new prospective client comes along, what are all of the things I have to do to create a sale or with an existing engagement, what do I need to do to deliver) in addition to various family stuff and investment stuff etc. I can't tell from the website how it will look on the Android phone. Can you see a list of lists the way you can see the tabs in RTM.
I've also found producteev, which also integrates with Google Apps and Android apps Astrid and Task List both sync with it. Their support site seems to indicate that they are putting out a native Mac app soon and a native Android app sometime.

Tagging and smart lists are the things that make RTM so flexible. It's easy to tag an action with a client name, or project phase then either query or have a smart list to bring up all actions with that tag, or all with that tag due tomorrow, or all with that tag due tomorrow for a set client.
Depending on you clients, it may be possible to have one smart list per client.
The RTM help and FAQ are pretty good.
I use it as a GTD task holder and have lists for personal and work, as well as list for tasks due today, this week, and by location. So, if I have and hour in an office with a phone, I can pick off all those tasks that need me to make calls.
