Anyone waiting for Android tablet?

Is anyone here forgoing the iPad and waiting on the Android tablets to come out? I personally have a Droid X and love it, which is why I am considering an Android based tablet for my travels. I love the idea of the iPad but would love to integrate between cell phone and tablet PC. What are everyone else's opinions?

I'm going to see what the iPad v2 is and make a decision based on the market when it comes out.

I'm paying close attention to the now rooted Nook Color. $249 is a good price.

Since MS can't get their act together, I'm looking at the Android tablets now. However, I'm waiting to see some more tablets hit the market.

For example, the notion ink adam looks would supposedly allow to switch between colour lcd and e-ink on the same screen.

I had a netbook and decided to get the ipad. However I am still waiting for a decent tablet.

The way I see it, is that it will take until about this time next year for Android tablets to really mature.

I did ditch the iphone for android and am very happy with it. Its been quite frustrating going back to an idevice, but at the same time I do find the tablet more useful than a netbook for things that I want it to do.

How are the apps for it? They aren't really tablet specific yet are they?

As I'm reading everywhere else, the standard question I have to ask seems to be, Can/how well does it run Angry Birds?

Yes - I do not purchase Apple Corp. products.

During Thanksgiving visit home, I played with my sister's Droid phone, and was suitably impressed. I'm not in a super-hurry, and will see what products come into the marketplace before making a decision to purchase.

I have the Viewsonic GTablet (Tegra 2 Processor) and I am very impressed with it so far, while their provided software is almost useless, the XDA community has really stepped forward and released some ROMS that take the GTab and make it amazing and what it should have been from day one.
