Another vote for Tunein Radio. Works in countries where Pandora is not allowed and it is really cool to listen to your home stations or local station wherever you are, love it. It also works about a 1000 times better than iheartradio.

The big, cool feature that the Android app shares with the iPhone version is the ability to deposit checks just by taking pictures of the front and back of the check.

I have deposited two checks this way so far. Love it! ^

Check out Continental's new app in the market. It is free and works really well.

I cannot find all the aps that people list on The Market when I do a search. :(

Is it because of my Thailand mobile provider (AIS)?

As a flyertalker, I like the Kayak & Continental aps. The opening of the Priceline one is, as people have already said, made it worth it, just from that.

I don't know if the reason you're having trouble is that you're on a different network or that the apps you're searching for aren't listed in the Market. I think I've read that only a fraction of Android apps are available.

I just started using an app called appsfire that is an alternative to the market app. I really like the features, it has a home screen with "what's hot right now, "price drops," etc. There is a search feature as well. Maybe that will find the apps.

Or, maybe you could use a webpage like appbrain.com to search and install the apps you're looking for. I think you need their installer, though "fast web installer." There's a link on the webpage.

SwiFTP allows you to transfer files to/from your PC and your Android phone on a wifi network. No need to pull out microSD card any more. Works great!

I installed Tunein Radio per your suggestion and it is AMAZING! All my local stations and syndicated stuff. Some of it can be played historically on demand too. The best part is ITS FREE!

If you need help PM me. You have top ensure you've setup an extension, a trunk and then an inbound and outbound routing.

For who knows what reason, pbxes.com just sent me an email saying they had deleted my account because I provided incorrect personal information. I have no idea what information they're referring to, and they didn't say. :td:

I think I'm better off without dealing with a company that arbitrarily deletes my account. Good thing I didn't rely on them for anything.

Your problem could be you are running an old version of android firmware. I have a cliq xt running android 1.5 and find many programs unavailable to me.

So far the most useful application I have is:

APNdroid

It serves as the on/off switch for my internet connection.

Absolutely brilliant!

Wow that's frustrating. I never had any issues with them and in fact had a really good experience once when they had an outage. I'd pop them an email to see what's up. Definitely not usual for them in my experience w/ friends.

Blacklist Pro -- can limit the callers from your contact list during after-hours.

Looking for an equivalent of Best-Profiles for Symbian phones....I miss the app to set phone profiles to change automatically at a pre-set time of the day or gps co-ordinates.

Or you can try Easy Filter Saves me from pesky callers and nonsense sms.
