Vessi Shoes?

I'm looking for a travel shoe that can handle walking all day, and possibly cover as a dinner shoe with a pair of jeans so no place dressier than that. Anyone own a pair and can comment on their all day comfort?

Open to other suggestions.

Specifically looking at everyday classic or even the cityscape classic.

Search Google for basketball officials shoes. Definitely will stand up to the walking and should look ok.

Had a pair for about a year. They offered zero support for arches. There's no upper support or structure. It's basically fabric covering every bit of your foot except the sole. Yes, they're machine washable. Mine started to fray after about 6 months. Not worth the $125+ price tag.

Check out Cole Haan ZeroGrand, anything in Sketchers "casual sneaker" family, etc.

You can remove the insoles from Allbirds - I removed mine and put Powerstep insoles inside. If you have a high instep, you will want to pay attention to the tongue - some have a true tongue, and others are essentially slipons. Both my husband and I wear our Allbirds for travel, but the one big issue we have is that most of the shoes have zero grip. In wet conditions, they are like walking on ice. The Tree Dashers have decent grip, but the runners are slick.

My wife has had two pairs of Vessis and both started to leak. She is done with them.

I have two pairs of Allbird Tree Runners. They are super comfy but get dirty easily. Yes, you can put them in the wash. However, the outer fabric is really prone to damage.

OP here, I wound up getting a pair of ON Cloud 5, so far so good but haven't logged a long day of walking yet.

I bought a pair of Vessi Weekends last year. Personally, I find them very comfortable but the outsole isn't durable enough for me.
I walk about 50km per week and there was basically no tread left in the outsole in less than 6 months. The rest of the shoe is fine though and still waterproof. I'd consider getting another pair of Vessis if they had a version with a more durable outsole.
