Had a pair for about a year. They offered zero support for arches. There's no upper support or structure. It's basically fabric covering every bit of your foot except the sole. Yes, they're machine washable. Mine started to fray after about 6 months. Not worth the $125+ price tag.

Check out Cole Haan ZeroGrand, anything in Sketchers "casual sneaker" family, etc.
