Help with Tumi Telescopic Handle Repair

Dear Travellers, I am not quite sure where to look for help, so I thought I would try it here. I have a Tumi alpha 2 two wheeled duffle suitcase and one segment of its telescopic handle broke. One of the pins will not pop out and is stuck in the handle frame Some photos are below. There is no Tumi retailer in my country. Do you have any advice on how I could have thia fixed? Could I fix it myself? I am most definitely not ready to say goodbye to it because of the handle. Any and all advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I have a similar issue. On one side the little silver "button" like the one in your pic (not the black button, the silver one) get's stuck and I need to wiggle it around before it catches into place. Really annoying when you're in a hurry.

Try giving them a call and see what they can do to. The wheels on my 4.5 years old Alpha 2 International were damaged recently. Called them and they gave the option of sending it back to them to get fixed, take it to a shop and they would fix it, or just sending me the parts and I could do it myself - all options at no charge.

I went with having them just send me the parts and swapped them over myself. I'm in the US, but perhaps they would do the same internationally.

I did exactly that. I emailed Tumi Service and asked if they could help. I offered to pay for the spare part and hoped they would make it available. Not only they did that, but they sent me the complete replacement telescopic handle free of charge via UPS. I was able to fix my bag and now its like new. A huge thanks to Tumi; this level of service is truly extraordinary.
