Trunkster
Hi Folks,
I pre-ordered the Trunkster Zipperless luggage couple months ago. Now I want to cancel my order and ask for refund. But the co-founder said:
"Unfortunately we are not able to offer change of mind returns, as per our terms of service that all sales are final. This is because as a new company we use the money from preorders to pay for materials and engineering costs to initiate production."
I just want to know is this legal? I don't remember they had mentioned the "all sales are final" on the website as well.
Thanks for any advise!

I don't know the details of your order, etc... But the usual rule on orders are here:
https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/busi...elephone-order
Usually, if they can't make the promised delivery time, or within 30 days if they don't promise a delivery time, they have to notify you and let you cancel.
I have no clue how it all interacts with pre-orders, kickstart type campaigns.
