I can't believe people would seriously try to file a lawsuit over this. Get a grip.

It's disgusting and I would definitely let the FA know but for god's sake...chalk it up as a funny story and move on. Surely you have more important things to do with your life. But then again, here I am on FT reading a thread about it, so maybe not!

Actually, I know someone who travels a lot and uses this product on a regular basis, both on planes and when she is out in the "wilds" on safaris and such:
