Spinners and trains

If you travel by train or train based public transport spinners are are a pain, cos you have to keep hold of them otherwise they wander the aisles. Not too bad for short journeys, but if its a long ooe and the luggage racks are full, you are stuck.

Here's an interesting quote from a huff post article called Confessions of An Airline Baggage 'Thrower': Why You Should Buy A Four-Wheeler Suitcase. "The best bags to get are the "spinners" with four wheels on the bottom. We like these because we don't have to throw them when loading. We just roll them down the belly of the plane so your bag and its contents will suffer much less damage."

This wouldn't apply to a bag used exclusively as a carry-on, but for checking is certainly a consideration.
