Best Spots for Photography at JFK airport/is there an observation deck?

Hi.
I was wondering if anyone knew some good spots for photography at JFK airport? I would most likely be using a 200mm lens.

Also, is there an observation deck at JFK airport?

Thanks

You can go up on the roof of the International Arrivals Building. You'll be so close to the planes you'll need a wide angle lens, not a telephoto.

Or, at least you could in 1957. Maybe not today.

It was still open in 1966, here's a great picture of it:

Is it specifically aircraft/airfield photography you're after? There's some wonderful shots of the TWA terminal to be had...

The TWA terminal (Saarinen building) is still under construction and is not internally accessible. There are OK views from the walkway to/from the T5 AirTrain stop but they are not phenomenal. You will not be able to get up close to the building right now.
