I've been scanning some old slides. If you can get past the film grain (which removing digitally really degrades the image) some of the scenes are (IMO) pretty nice.

I usually submit more writing than photography here at FlyerTalk, but here's a sampling of pictures from my travels over the years...
Springtime amidst the aspens atop Colorado's McClure Pass
Patagonian peaks tower above Lake Pehue in southern Chile
Looking down on my campsite at Lower Ice Lake
Glacier Peak Wilderness Area - Cascade Mountains, Washington State
Rolling through Montana aboard Amtrak's Empire Builder
The street I grew up on
Two Alaskan guys enjoying a breakfast beer
Which one is me?

Some of these youngsters these days actually intentionally add that effect to their photos on Instagram.
Spectacular shots.
You have literally been everywhere that is on my bucket list.
And you've photographed them much better than I ever could! Beautiful shots.
BTW, I think the other dude on the ferry has just barely edged you out on the beard-growing competition...

One day, God willing
Thanks for the excellent pictures (and to everyone for the excellent pictures).

Whatever you do, do not go with my ex-girlfriend. She wore a pair of flats without any tread and kept falling over and crying. She just ruins the experience. If she asks you to go with her just say no.
