Travel is not a requirement for pictures in this album, they just have to be beautiful. And that one certainly qualifies ^

Beautiful, and very lucky!

I had forgotten that the Geminid shower was last night, but as I was driving over the Grapevine into L.A., I saw not one but two very large, very bright meteors within the span of five minutes, and a quick Google search reminded me of the event. Nice capture of a neat astronomical event!

I love shots of empty roads. Yours is particularly excellent. Reminds me of the end of Skyfall actually.

Many of the high-speed rail stations in China are built in areas that aren't quite...built yet. Good camera fodder for sure.
