Hilton Nagasaki April 2024

After 2 days of rain at Huis Ten Bosch, it was 4 days at the Hilton Nagasaki

At first it was low cloud,

View from my room ( and executive lounge) at Hilton Nagasaki, cloud base below 1,000ft as Mt Inasayama is in the clouds ( not much point going to the observatory)

However got a beautiful day a couple of days later. Got a corner room with two windows, one facing Mt Inasayama and the other facing the dejima messe and south facing

The view on a beautiful day

The view south from my room. A Silversea cruise ship just preparing to dock at the cruise terminal ( close to Glover garden). The Silversea was a lot smaller than the very large cruise ship the previous day)

Viewing left from the window, you can see the roof of the Nagasaki JR station and the newish Marriott Nagaskai ( the Marriott has balconies unlike the hilton)

View around sunset

View overlooking Dejima messe roof to the Nagasaki station roof and the Marriott after sunset

Regards

Have a non concrete view from the Shalati, Train on the Bridge,Skukuza, KNP. SA. Overlooking the Sabie River.

It can be a little disconcerting when one feels the carriages ever so slightly swaying occasionally.

View from room window
View underneath the rooms, between the rail tracks (that's a Kudu walking on the dry part of the river bed)
View from the bar (just about see the pool)

Hilton Hiroshima end April 2024

Hi,

A few photos from my room at the Hilton Hiroshima in end April 2024. This time got a executive room on the top floor ( 22nd floor ) , the same floor as the executive lounge

View from room towards sunset. Car park is the car park for the Fuji Grand shopping centre virtually across the road

View at night with the moon rising ( poor photo of the moon -in reality it was a lot whiter)

A morning view ( panning to the right from the previous photos). Other rooms have had views towards the Bay and Miyajima island in the distance)

Panning to the right a couple of days later. The day before it rained all day and had rained earlier in the morning with low visibility but was clearing after breakfast. Beautiful contrast with the hills and islands and the clouds

Regards

Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai - unfortunately, I had to vacate the first room with a fantastic Burj Khalifa view because of the smoke smell, but the other side isnt bad - get to see the Union House flag

Conrad tokyo 30th april 2024

Stayed here for 2 nights after flying up from Hiroshima. Got upgraded to a King Executive City view room ( 36th floor) from the base city view room ( this was during golden week). Room was very good but views do not compare to the bay views on the other side of the building

View looking to the left from the room ( Shinkansen train passing by at the bottom)

View looking down between the buildings with the Yurikamome train to odaiba just passing by. the shiodome station is very close to the ground lobby entrance

View at night ( low clouds and had rained most of the day)

View at night

View to the right on a sunny day. I would think that some rooms towards the end of the corridor would see the tokyo skytree in the mid distance as you can see it at one end of the 29th floor pool
