A survey at www.cnn.co.uk had/has a question which asked, "Which of the following do you find most stressful about flying?"
Takeoff
Landing
In flight
Waiting on the runway
My vote would be for "dealing with airport staff" and this seems to be missing from the list.
When I last checked, most people said "Waiting on the runway." Would you rather be waiting on the runway or not sure if you could get an upgrade or even on a flight, or worst yet, lies, lies and more lies about flight problems.
