I still think there is something cooking with the Delta alliance and Star. But then what would I know?

But SAA has agreements with LH and Thai and SQ. They also are partnered with AA (which is strange considering this Delta development). Maybe they want to be part of everybody's family. Right now it seems they have more ties with the Star but they are all over the map.

SAA will drop its Miami flight when the Atlanta service starts. Interestingly, Delta flies extensively to JFK and ATL (the two US routes for SAA). AA now, with the demise of the MIA flight, only covers one (JFK) with any frequency. Hmmmmm.
