The important parts

Alclear said in a statement Tuesday that the subscription terms of nearly 160,000 previous members will be honored. Enrollment for new members will start this summer...

A Clear membership will cost $179 for unlimited use.

Wonder how long it will take for them to ramp back up, and at what airports?

This is bad if it means the same arrangement as before where elite security lines go away when Clear is present, like at JFK T2. Hopefully with the focus on Sky Priority Delta won't let this happen at its terminals.

So what exactly has changed since Clear folded that would now make this venture a potentially profitable one? Is the economy that much better?

Sweet!! I still had 1.5 years of subscription left. Apparently they are going to honor it.

I have to assume MCO is one of the very first...since it was Clear's largest membership base. And thank god if they do - because the idiots that run the airport refuse to budge on placing a first class/elite line.
