I think it should, or a new thread should be started there...
Oh btw, I'm headed down today to Phoenix, hoping to catch a beer with *aztimm*, and then spending the next two days running the "Ragnar Del Sol" relay race. I originally had high goals set for my time in this race, but a combination of overuse injuries and the last two weeks with flu/bronchitis, I'm at the point of just wanting to finish my legs.
RE: the Boston standards. Doesn't affect my plan of trying to maintain my sub-5-hour time until I'm 80.

I'm only one voice but I vote for the move. I think it's a more natural home and I also think it will help to provide some new traffic to the new forum, giving it a better chance of being successful.

And I prefer moving the thread rather than a starting a new one because I and others will often reference workouts/races/etc. that occurred in the past as a way of talking about how we've progressed (or regressed!). Much easier to do that if we only have one place to look/search/quote/etc.

BTW - wouldn't have occurred to me about the referencing magiciansampras mentions, so based on what he said, I would (if there are 3 votes for moving) support moving the entire thread vs starting a new one.
Of course once it's moved over, one of the 'regulars' may want to say all are welcome on the thread, not just marathoners

But a Senior Mod or Admin could do it over there once it's moved.
So as not to confuse anybody as to the origin of the thread, perhaps the best bet would be to let it keep it's original name for a bit and then have somebody change the title.
