NYTimes not quite so kind toward the 4-Hour Body book. Pretty snarky (but funny) review.

Most of the stuff I've seen with extreme weight loss is about 500 calories a day. (There was an article somewhere in the Times I think about using some sort of hormone shot to lose weight. Well, in addition to the shot, the folks were limiting their intake to 500 calories a day. Anyone can lose huge amounts of weight on 500 calories a day.)

longwaybackhome - I'm drinking about 200oz. of water every day. Even before this contest, I didn't really drink any sodas or carbonation - maybe once every two weeks.
Adcock & Sylvia - I'll look into those links. Thanks
"Eat white rice immediately after a workout to quickly replenish the energy in your muscles; eat brown rice for a more steady release of energy."
That will help me a lot with my routine. Thanks! Since I posted 5 days ago, I've lost 4 pounds. 210 this morning. Only 23lbs. to go for my goal and 44 days to do it. I've lost 13.5% of my body weight since Feb. 7.

There's a thread on OMNI discussing the book and program.
One of the posts contains a link to the WebMD review of the book.
