Food will be onging from 6:30. Drink will be onging from 6:30. Don't worry about the timing.

You can get the 2-3THB boat next to the ROS just across the river to the pier in front of the Millennium Hilton. Then just walk to the left along the river past the Hilton and you'll see the place. Facing the Hilton, with the river to your back, it is to the left.

Be aware of the venue!

In case people try to Google the place and find this:

http://www.bemyguestbnb.com

That is not the venue.

The place we are talking about is also called Be My Guest. It's s little beer garden kind of place that's directly on the river and literally next to the Millennium Hilton hotel. So for the purpose of getting directions one is best advised to just set the GPS / tell the taxi driver to go to Millennium Hilton Hotel by the river.

Alternative: Take BTS to Saphan Thaksin and then take a free boat shuttle to Millennium Hilton (tell them you are visiting someone at the Hilton when asked.) There's also a public boat that's like 3 baht for the crossing.

I still don't know whether I will still be in town on Sat evening. If I am, I will stop by after dinner for a few drinks.

Mrs LoM and I are leaving for BKK tonight and arrive at the SGS tomorrow afternoon. Depending on how she feels we may pop along for a few drinks. We are only in BKK for one night before heading South to Krabi and Khao Lak.

At the very least be good to say hi over Happy Hour drinks to any FT'ers staying at the SGS.

It was not easy but I assume we´re going to make it. Just checked out at Plaza Athenee on the way to Le Meridian.
Maybe we´re a little late due to traffic - and weather !!!
Outside the world is coming to an end right now no outside dinner today

The venue just called and asked if we want to sit inside instead.

We kept the option open and told then we will review the situation at 5.30pm.

So we have the option of sitting in the little boat house if the weather is too crazy or the tarpaulin doesn't work.
