What a mess for those trying to travel to Thailand today.... Reports of those flying FD and TK being denied boarding at their port of origin today.

Just arrived at BKK about an hour ago on QR. QR checked our Vax cards at checkin at IAD. No checks at Doha and no checks at arrival at BKK. Very few tourists arriving wearing masks and they were not mandated on the plane but were suggested. Didn’t see any testing on arrival. 7am absolutely no lines at immigration.

I have heard, that the health insurance remains mandatory for those, who fly back or on to a country that demands a Covid-test for entry (for example India and China)...
will post if i can find an official document...

It's interesting that China is now putting restrictions on travelers from Japan and S Korea after they introduced stricter measures for Chinese Travelers so you can see what Thailand has done.

The health insurance requirement has also been scrapped:
"The public health minister, via the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand, has cancelled the requirement for foreign arrivals, from countries which require PCR tests on return, to have at least US$10,000 health insurance coverage for the duration of their holiday, plus seven days."
