It updated sometime around 2am Monday morning (Thai time) with the silly vax restrictions so it'll likely take several more hours to update back to the 1 OCT FULLY OPEN status. In the meantime, the IATA site still showing vax req as do the US airlines along with TG. QF one of the few that has now updated correctly.

What a mess for those trying to travel to Thailand today.... Reports of those flying FD and TK being denied boarding at their port of origin today.

It will probably be reinstated in a couple of weeks, when Covid numbers start going up....

Just arrived at BKK about an hour ago on QR. QR checked our Vax cards at checkin at IAD. No checks at Doha and no checks at arrival at BKK. Very few tourists arriving wearing masks and they were not mandated on the plane but were suggested. Didn’t see any testing on arrival. 7am absolutely no lines at immigration.

I have heard, that the health insurance remains mandatory for those, who fly back or on to a country that demands a Covid-test for entry (for example India and China)...
will post if i can find an official document...

Unfortunately I'd have to agree - it makes planning a trip to Thailand a bit of a lottery...

It's interesting that China is now putting restrictions on travelers from Japan and S Korea after they introduced stricter measures for Chinese Travelers so you can see what Thailand has done.

Right.

But due to the several policy changes in rapid succession, your airline may still try (incorrectly) to enforce some or all of that.
