Question Pumpkin Pie in Bangkok?

Anybody know of a place to get some? Unfortunately, our BKK apartment does not have a conventional oven, so homemade pie is not an option (too bad, as mrs makes a mean pie)...

So far, we've found that Coffee Beans by Dao does a pretty decent apple pie, and we're head-over-heels in love with the Thai pumpkin custard (sangkaya fak thong, yum yum).

But neither of those quite scratches the itch for a big slice of good ol' American-style spiced pumpkin pie (mr's fave) with real whipped cream. Sadly, several years of searching has failed to produce a single slice of pumpkin pie here in the City of Angels...

Ideas? Best kept secrets? Commiseration?

Call the F&B Manager at any of the top hotels. I bet that there's a way to make this happen. No idea on cost, though.

When you Google up Thanksgiving Dinners Bangkok, or something like that you have places serving pumpkin pie with the meals. Try a Foodland Supermarket bakery department.

Try the same question on the Thai Visa Forum too. I ate Thanksgiving dinner at Bob's Barbeque, Pattaya a few years ago. I think they had pumpkin pie, give them a call.

If you know someone with an oven you might find a frozen pie at a Villa Market. I know that the Villa market in Pattaya does special orders, probably the same for Bangkok.

Pumpkin is okay but I prefer mince pie.
