Possible the best deal out there?

CMB-BKK-LAX in BIZ is under 1500$. The question is if you can use it or not. LAX is not a valid destination FROM BKK or Japan but "Through travel beyond Bangkok on restricted routes is permitted, for example: HAN/BKK/LAX.., SGN/BKK/ BOM.., SGN/BKK/RGN.., HAN/BKK/TPE/BKK/LAX ."
Can someone explain the last thing? Is CMB-BKK-LAX valid for this two for one since its starts in CMB?
CMB-BKK-LAX is over 9700 miles one way. Mileage run in style anyone?

What about fares ex-Australia? Would fares sold on Travel be eligible for this promo?
Two pax in J(as per fare rules) for A$5067 seems too good to be true (even though the rules say to book in D), just like two pax for A$6365 in A.
Can it be done on '2 for 1' basis for this money?
