Two for one

I have tried to call Thai airways about this, but since I have received two different replies, I want to ask you guys...
Does anybody know if flights booked in either A or D are eliglble for this deal? or just flights booked in F or C?

Thanks

As far as I know, only full fare biz and first which means C and F. If I recall correctly this two for one is not valid ex Scandinavia and Japan for some reason.

kempis is right, the promo is a scam. Here in Taiwan, Thai sells biz class to most European destinations for TWD 6x,000.- The full ticket price needed to get a second for free is TWD 134'000. Go figure.

Kempis,
I spoke with Thai in CPH and the reason this offer is not valid within Scandinavia is because of the relationship with SAS. How and Why I don't know, but this offer is currently not valid from Scandinavia. They would like it to be, though http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Austrian Airlines has had two special deals ex Scandinavia with two for one in business class to Asia and Australia the last year.

A CRT CPH-BKK is over 28000DKK roundtrip btw

It's a good deal if you buy ticket ex-BKK. For other country of origin, YMMV.

And the "same" ticket ex. London is +/- 13700DKK.... even with free stop-over both ways in CPH.....

However booked in D-class.

Where did you find that great price? The best publish fare I can find with TG from LHR is over 38000DKK. Free stopover in CPH? Does that mean you will be flying SK between CPH and LHR?

I would also be interested in finding out where this ticket is bookable... Would be nice to use in the May - as a milage run! - maybe it would even be possible to use SK on this fare between CPH-BKK (remember, as EBG we now recieve is it 15% or 25% (can't remember) basis points additional)

Norway_Asia - please provide further details if possible http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif - thanks

You will earn 25% more basic points as EBG and flying SK C.

Hi,

It is not a published fare, but a "net fare / consolidator fare" that should be easy to find in the UK Market. I just looked on www.netflights.com

It HAS to be on SK Metal all the way.

I have started several trips to BKK from London, but I prefer LH - as I can then upgrade to First.

They "all" (SK, LH, OS, KL, LX etc) should be in this range ex. UK.

A is for First class and D for Business class.
Those Buy one get one Free-used A and D

The ticket is charged as C, but issued as a D class/non-reroutable ticket, with a 300 dollar refund charge. The second ticket is also issued as D, on a tax only basis (all of 30US from here.)

In my case, the second ticket is marked as a in-conjunction ticket with mine, since I had it issued for a ten year old. According to TG here, the second person must fly out with the first, but can return at any time. For an escort ticket, it made perfect sense. (Of course, putting him in business class is probably creating a monster that I will never be able to tame. "But last time......")

From Korea, it made sense, since the fares from here are fairly low to start with compared to European origins, and consolidator fares tend to be few and far between outside of economy class.

Is this deal valid for travel within Thailand? I'm flying BKK to Chiang Mai this summer.
