Do Thai still operate the A300-600 (AB6)?

IMHO, the schedule varies day to day, no certain weekly schedule. Only bet are the 223/224, used to be 218/920 IIRC, the 744 doing HKT-BKK-FRA.

According to KVS and Checkmytrip, the 201 has reverted back to a 744 (again) on some days in December e.g 10th Dec. When I booked it in August it was a 744, it changed to a 773 at one point and is now back to a 744. Also The 213/214 is also showing as an AB6 on some days (24th Dec for example) and a 772 or 773 on others

I got one of those planes on a flight last month. The flight wasn't long so the C seating didn't bother me too much. What did bother me was the tray tables. I noticed on my tray table that the plastic casing on the corner was torn and was extremely sharp. Someone could easily get a bad cut or tear their clothing if they brushed up against it. I mentioned it to the flight attendant so maintenance could fix it later but then I noticed the same problem was on all the seat's tray tables. It is a design flaw in the seats. There's a plate on the side of the housing near the front which the tray table hits into when it's stored and it causes the plastic to split. I assume these seats are made by Airbus so why hasn't Airbus recalled them over this very basic design flaw? If they were an automobile manufacturer they'd certainly be recalled over such a flaw which could cause injury. Why doesn't TG insist on Airbus replacing the seats with a proper design? If I was TG I certainly would and would not accept such shoddy design if I paid good money for the plane.

I too was on a TG A300-600 last week. On the outside it looked good, painted in the new livery etc, but inside was like stepping back to the 80s or even the 70s... a real time warp.

Yup, flew on AB6 from BKK-CNX-KMG and KMG-BKK last month. I also made the mistake of flying TG instead of OZ from ICN to BKK, thinking that the 333 TG aircraft was the same type that flew to KIX. Was I wrong. I should have just flown OZ instead.
