Bangkok bonus
I'm wondering if the Bangkok bonus offers extra points (by class of travel) on the entire itinerary, or whether the bonus is only applied to flights arriving and departing BKK.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Network Bonus Miles
Thanks, but unfortunately that thread doesn't answer my question.
The terms and conditions say "Network Bonus Miles are earned provided there is an international flight connection or stopover in Bangkok within 5 days of arrival on both inbound and outbound travel. One sector only beyond Bangkok qualifies the entire itinerary for Network Bonus Miles. Additional sectors beyond Bangkok are not eligible for Network Bonus Miles."
So one BKK transit (or max) 5 day stopover qualifies the entire itinerary for NBM. But then it does sectors beyond BKK are not eligible.
So on an RTW ticket, do NBM accrue on:
(a) the entire itinerary;
(b) the TG portion of the entire itinerary;
(c) the flights into BKK and out of BKK; or
(d) the flight into BKK only.
All four options can be construed from the reading of the T&C.
Thanks

b) depends
c) for sure
d) no
Just my guess, but Im not convinced that RTW itins do qualify at all. Maybe calling TG is the only solution here. Good luck.

Use these examples from the promotion page to figure it out:
You can use www.MileCalc.com for the distance calculations.
For example, flying these sample routes would earn the following miles:
Royal First Class: London-Bangkok-Sydney-Bangkok-London
31,839 miles + 11,144 Network Bonus Miles
Royal Silk Class New York-Bangkok-Jakarta-Bangkok-New York
30,285 miles + 7,571 Network Bonus Miles
Economy Class Melbourne-Bangkok-Athens-Bangkok-Melbourne
18,972 miles + 1,898 Network Bonus Miles

Has anyone actually got bonus miles credited to their ROP account yet? I did 4 flights via BKK last month and despite having registered on TG's webpage, nothing has come up.
I am wondering is it like one of those TG questionaire thing where bonus miles don't appear after like half a year? or they simply missed it and I should chase TG up?
Thanks guys in advance!

Dear all
I have a flight from MUC to SIN via BKK. The sectors from MUC to BKK are operated by TG and the sectors from BKK are operated by SQ. I was wondering if I would qualify for the Bonus Network Miles.
Anyone has similiar experiences to share?

Welcome to FT!!!
I don't think your flights will count because of the SQ flight BKK-SIN. You need to fly THAI on all sectors in my reading of the 'rules' in the THAI newsletter. Also, the fare class needs to be F/P or C/D or Y/B/M.
However, if you can re-book on THAI, then absolutely (watch booking class and ensure you register on THAI website though).
