Yes, there were caviar on the LHR flight. It’s the picture after the Thai fruits picture 😉

I thought that an avid caviar poster would be able to recognise caviar not just Thai fruit. Perhaps more F travel on BKK-LHR required.

there were so many photos posted...and some guy even requoted the photos....
and in my experience they start with the caviar for dinner or lunch, but the Caviar-photo came AFTER the fruits for breakfast....that's why I overlooked it....

Just returned from a short trip to London. Everything pretty much as per my , and other reports above, I can confirm caviar was served, though not to me as i am not a fan. On the return trip there was also a full menu in hard copy. However there was only one and the staff passed it around before TO for us all to have a look at.
The one big change is that the wi-fi is now up and running after much delay. The staff did not hand out any free vouchers but the price, $25 for unlimited use on multiple devices (not at the same time), is pretty reasonable.
Connection quality somewhat variable, as before , but generally pretty good download speeds especially over Europe. For me, a much needed enhancement to the service.

To be fair it wasn't exactly passed around; one of the staff just brought the menu to each passenger in turn, maybe she turned the pages and didn't hand it over , i am not completely sure on that point; i was just surprised seeing an actual printed menu again.

As an aside i would say that the food service has improved somewhat from LHR, (was warned by the Thai staff to stay away from the Thai food) , had a delicious smoked chicken starter followed by one of the best beef dishes i have had on TG.

BTW , the staff informed me that the system was not functioning well on all of the 77w aircraft and ,as of a few days ago, it was only available on part of the fleet.

from my perspective $25 for "all you can eat" is pretty fair. I use the internet a great deal especially in the 2/3 hours before landing at LHR (a bit less going the other way), so the old "free" voucher thing never really worked for me, it got all used up rather quickly, and then i had to pay to add extra anyway. Forget the free vouchers and keep the all you can eat price down is the way to go , my opinion. It also keeps casual users from clogging up the aircraft wi-fi capacity.

AirNZ offers free wifi in all classes and routes whenever the aircraft is fitted (most now). That has been much appreciated on my flights such as AKL-LAX/YVR/SIN in the past 6 months.

TG's F champagne now appears to be Laurent Perrier Grand Siècle, same as BA F and a few other assorted airlines.
FYI, I found this really quite good / honest trip report of a LHR-BKK F sector taken recently -
Can't believe this has only a few thousand views when OTT stuff like Nonstop Dan that I can't even bring myself to watch more than five minutes of as it's so whiny has millions of views per video.
Also this makes clear to me the TG F seat is just a cheaper specced version of the WY F seat (which I've flown quite a lot).
