773 vs 744 in J to BKK

Have options of either the 744 from MUC or 773 from FRA to BKK in J.
Either one have better seats or AVOD? I do like the upstairs on the 747 in general

You can check it by yourself for example at seatguru or here:

Thai Airways International Seat Configuration Overview

Seating configuration in 77W is 1-2-1. Wheras upperdeck in 747 is 2-2. So you have to climb over your neighbour if you like to sit at the window. Wheras in 77W you have direct aisle access. Furthermore the hard product itself is much more modern.

Would you like to sit next to a wall? If you don't then go for 77W.

Would you want a risk of not storing your carry-on above your head but have to placed it on lower deck? If yes then go for a 747.

Do you want to have a theoretical chance for a free upgrade to F? If yes then go for a 747.
