Most crews have started to serve J meal on this route in one tray (appetizer, main and sometimes also dessert). no fast track in HKG but fast track on arrival in BKK without handing out voucher

SQ lounge is not in the same area as where TG departures. so after check in at terminal 2, you have to take first subway to terminal 1 then go up to SQ lounge; afterwards down again and take the subway to the outer terminal area, where TG departs and where TG and UA lounge are located.

Going all the way down, waiting for a train, all the way up again, and then walking the rest of the road, you'll be there already by walking. Plus a bit of plane spotting on the way.

Exactly, just walk - it really is not that far, and there is plenty to look at on the way. Personally, I always avoid the train

Can anyone comment on the ground services at Frankfurt when flying F on TG921.
I flew TG920 in F so I am aware of what happens onboard.
Check in?
Are you taken to the lounge?
are you escorted to the plane?
Senator lounge or maple leaf lounge?
Thanks in advance

up to you to use maple leaf or senator lounge
maple leaf is much smaller, food offering focused on North American taste (slightly higher standard than Senator), newspapers and magazines on offer
Senator lounge much larger, food offering meets European taste, few newspapers, magazines only online, closer to departure gate

if you check in at terminal 2 (like TG passenger do) or you come from the ferry terminal (ferries from destinations around the Pearl river Delta, China or Macau), you are already on a subway, which stops opposite to the subway from gate 20 to 40. So subway is the logic continuation of your transfer to the lounge/gate.
Airport authorities have put up signboards that show the subway as common way to get to the outer terminal. Would you call them fools?
not everybody likes to walk long distances on airports like you and me....

From TG check in directly to TG lounge is another flow. And the train is a more valid option for that. But it does not make sense either to take the train from TG check in to the SQ lounge IMO.

But the whole point in question was going from the SQ lounge to the TG, as mentioned as going from 20 to 40.

a TG passenger (new to TG) wanted to know, what service he can expect in HKG. The question was then, which lounge to use…
of course you can walk all the way from terminal 2 to terminal 1 and go there through security and Immigration and afterwards to the SQ lounge and then walk all the way from SQ lounge to the outer terminal to the departure gate of TG (however you have to find your way yourself as both is not according to the normal signboards
or you can just take like most other passengers the subway from terminal 2 to 1 and then further to the outer terminal where TG or UA lounge are located…
the question is whether the SQ lounge in HKG is so much better to justify the complicate way to get there… (also I found queues for Immigration and fast track in Terminal 2 shorter than Terminal 1)
