I departed BKK around 01:30 on 9th, and felt no impact from this incident. I was quite surprised to read about it after arriving. I was also in FCO when Wizz Air had a collapsed landing gear, that generated total chaos in arrivals and departures. So I can only say well managed BKK.

I was supposed to depart BKK at 19:50 on 9 Sept. Boarded on time but flight didn't depart till 20:42 due to the single runway operation.

Check in staff had no idea there had been an accident. They said my flight would be departing on time.
