Is there a specific date you are interested in checking?
TG does not have an "arrivals" lounge. I have been very successful with early check-ins at hotels, if that is an option.

Folks, I'm booked TG F FRA-BKK in July (first time!). My reservation (from UA) and ANA search both show aircraft as A380. What's the chance of getting swapped with an old F (which doesn't look too appealing)?
Would also like to know, is the above less or more likely than being booked MUC-BKK on 747 new F and getting an old F?
Thanks!

The early TG flight FRA->BKK should be about as stable an aircraft type as Thai Airways ever gets. There is always a chance for substitution, but I would not switch off this FRA option.
In my opinion, the MUC flight would be more likely to have an aircraft substitution.
Enjoy your first TG flight !

Not flying till July. I was just interested because my UA ticket says A380 for FRA-BKK and B742 for BKK-KIX. Ideally I'd like A380/B744 for both rather than B777.

TG hasn't had 742s in service for some time now.

Looked in the forums couldn't find the answer. Anyone have a preferred F seat on the A346?

I go for either 2A or 2K on the TG A346...assuming traveling solo.
I don't perceive much of a difference between A/K, but like to stay away from Row 1 just to increase distance from Lavs/Galley.

Does anyone know if TG gives out Rimowa kit on BKK-SYD in F? By looking at some trip reports, they only hand out Tumi kit, can anyone confirm?
