Temperatures had one of our "typical" winter plunges. I drove to work in short sleeves with the air conditioning blasting... and I'll drive home tonight with the heat on at full volume.

I bet the temperature here in the Dallas area has dropped about 30 degrees in the last couple of hours. It is downright cold here. Plus its been raining quite a bit, if the temp drops much more, we are going to have some very nice ice problems.

i am in dallas and all weekend the news has been running reports that say that the storm is a coming, but nothing is really happening, i have been out 3 times this weekend and all it is is cold and wet, but not icy.
however aa has still cancelled like 300 flights today out of dfw. i don't really know why, there's virtually no ice anywhere.

I'm north a little in McKinney, but I am starting to see ice form on all the trees. But I agree that, at least here, there hasn't been too much punch to this storm. Tonight though may be a different story.
