Yikes! The weather!
 

I am stuck in TUL as the airport has closed as of an hour ago....Anyone else enjoying the lovely winter storm??:rolleyes:

Perhaps some of our FT'rs in the South Forum would like to comment.

Temperatures had one of our "typical" winter plunges. I drove to work in short sleeves with the air conditioning blasting... and I'll drive home tonight with the heat on at full volume.

I bet the temperature here in the Dallas area has dropped about 30 degrees in the last couple of hours. It is downright cold here. Plus its been raining quite a bit, if the temp drops much more, we are going to have some very nice ice problems. :eek:

i am in dallas and all weekend the news has been running reports that say that the storm is a coming, but nothing is really happening, i have been out 3 times this weekend and all it is is cold and wet, but not icy.

however aa has still cancelled like 300 flights today out of dfw. i don't really know why, there's virtually no ice anywhere.

I'm north a little in McKinney, but I am starting to see ice form on all the trees. But I agree that, at least here, there hasn't been too much punch to this storm. Tonight though may be a different story. :eek:

ice was very bad this morning, i had to close my office until lunch time because of so much ice.

Everybody I've been meeting with here in New Orleans has been blaming me for bringing the cold weather from DEN. Right, like I put it in my carry-on. :D

new snow problems this morning, i had to close the office again this morning.
