Skylink at DFW

Now that I am DFW-based, I rarely take the Skylink trAAins. Due to weather, I had a terminal change today, so I hopped on.

Just my imagination, or have the trains sped up? Possibly due to re-banking and shorter connection times?

Has anyone noticed this, or has it just been a while since I've been on Skylink? Not an issue, but it seemed like we were really moving.

(Tried a search: API Error on FT app)

I think it's your imagination. I mostly transfer at DFW so am pretty familiar with their speed. They definitely feel faster than the trains at many other airports such as JFK and SFO, so perhaps that influences your perception.

Skylink at DFW

As mentioned, they are faster than some but I'd put them in line with Denver...which if not holding on and with those slight turns can cause a little tumble.

Not anything new, but I have noticed since they started running a few years back that they run fast in general. I always hang tight, especially in those curves..

When you're late for your flight, they seem awfully slow.

As this question isn't specifically related to AA, and Skylink serves all carriers and terminals at DFW, I'll move this over to the Texas forum.

Maybe SkyLink is making up for the years of plodding meanderings of the landside DFW TrAAin.
