56m Connection Time DFW (Friday evening in August)
I'm trying to book BTR-CPH on 14 August and the most convenient economy fare puts me changing planes in DFW Friday night.
Book through BA (or OTA) with American Eagle out of BTR and BA out of DFW.
Is this connection doable? I mean, the OTA put it together, but I want to be confident.
Thanks, in advance, for any assistance you can offer.

Yes it is quite doable - and I routinely book flights with layovers shorter than that at DFW. All the terminals at DFW are connected post-security by the Skylink. Most, if not all gates are no more than 5 minutes from a station, and at the max the ride between stations is 10 minutes. Coming in on AE, most likely you will arrive at B, BA will depart from D.
If for some reason you miss your connection, BA and AA are tightly connected and they will rebook you onto one of the later flights operated by AA.
