Question How do I increase the # of "recent threads" on FT's homepage?

I would like to increase the number of "recent threads" links for me on FT's homepage from 5 to 10. Perhaps, even more? I do see a "flash" of 10 threads once the homepage initially loads but the bottom 5 are quickly covered up by 'The Gate' blog -the best of FlyerTalk" leaving only 5 visible for each tab (Miles & Points, Travel & Dining, etc.).

Is there a setting and/or preference I can alter which would dsiplay more "recent threads"? Any help would be appreciated as this has been driving me nuts!

Found the workaround. Just forbid flyertalk.com from running javascript (easy to do with the noscript addon in Mozilla). Shows the 15 most recent topics. The only drawback I've found so far is that the user name in the login field isn't selected automatically. The other drawback, or perhaps an enhancement, is that you have to press the go button if you use the box to change forums at the bottom of pages.
