Quick Reply freezes

Lately, whenever I post a quick reply, after posting I get a blank screen with a small note from the browser on the lower left saying "stopped." The post goes through, and I can back up, refresh, and eventually see it, but it is annoying.

This is with the latest version (2.0.0.6) of Firefox.

Testing quick reply in FF 2.0.0.6

Edit:
It seems to be working from what I can tell, if you are running any plug ins you might want to try and disable them and try and figure out which one is causing a problem.

Probably the plug-in is "Ad Block Plus 0.7.5.1," because that's the only one I am runnng. However, that plug-in is rather key to a non-payer like me enjoying FT (although maybe of lesser concern to you folks, all things considered!).

Edited to add: Hmmm, I just noticed that this only happens SOMETIMES. I just posted a response in TB topics where it didn't happen. So it almost certainly is related to a specific ad that Ad Block Plus is somehow interacting with weirdly, which means that in time, this too shall pass.

So probably the easiest way to handle things for now is do nothing and see if it goes away in a week or two.

Thanks for the reply Richard, is anyone else experiencing this with a similar set up?

I am seeing this problem occasionally when I quick post. I don't use Ad Block, but rather NoScript. I don't have anything blocked on flyertalk.

A couple of weeks have passed and the problem did, indeed, go away. So whatever ad it was that was causing it, it has now passed on to the great ad cemetery in the sky. I wish all bugs were this easy to fix!

The problem is back as of a few days ago and is now occurring 100% of the time for all quick replies, using Firefox 2.0.0.7 with AdBlocker+. I presume it is a specific ad once again and will go away in a few weeks when the ad does, but it is an annoyance.

RBP, Normal Posts and PMs are all stalling for me at the moment. Although it is intermittent.
The page just seems to hang after pressing submit.

The posts appear to actually post successfully though
