Hawaii-based Users and DST Corrections

Looks like Hawaii-based Users (who don't "celebrate" the joys of falling back as does most of the rest of the country) have sprung forward as of October 29th on Flyertalk. All my posts are appearing one hour ahead of what they should be. HOM-gurus, any answer to this?

FWIW, my setting is "DST Correction Always Off" in my profile. Changing that to DST Correction Always On or the Automatic option makes no difference.

cblaisd tells me he fixed this correction by changing his time zone to "Midway," but I can't get myself to do it.

Wink

The FT clock doesn't seem to have "fallen back" today.

Strange things happening. I noticed on Saturday (Friday in US) that my time was showing an hour behind normal (ie 2 hours behind NZ daylight time with DST adjustment off). So I changed DST adjustment on to see if it made a difference - nope.

Then yesterday (and again today) the time was showing correctly for daylight savings time.

Strangely, my time's working correctly again as well.

Ditto. And I was able to move back from Midway Island. Pretty quiet there.

If anyone is still having a problem with this please double check your settings at:

I did that already, Tim. I have the Eastern Time zone selected with the option of DST being automatically entered and removed. So why are the times showing the Atlantic Time Zone which is 1 hour ahead of New York Time.

I just tried setting things as should be set for Eastern and got the correct time. You might want to double check your settings (see, my post in your other thread for correct settings) and try logging out and deleting all cookies for the board and clearing your cache, then logging back in. Thanks,
