Unable to use search feature

Evertime I try to use the search feature, I get redirected to the login page. Is there a minimum number of posts or something else preventing me from searching the forums?

Search is currently down, we have the Google search link up to replace it for the time being and are working to get it back up.

Something a bit odd...the search feature won't work for me on the Continental Forum...but a minute later it will work for me on say the Starwood Forum...and then still won't work in the Continental Forum. I've seen this pretty consistently for about a week.

How is it not working for you? Can you be specific about what you are trying to do and what is happening? I am able to use the search link from the CO forum fine and search in the CO forum from the advanced search as well. Thanks,

If the problem is anything like what I am having, the search returns a "page unavailable" error when the search string is too long. It will work on shorter searches, but it times out longer searches after a few seconds.

I'm trying a two word search...and it just times out...very quickly. It is the same in netscape and internet explorer. I tried a one word search and the same thing.

In short the best way to avoid this now is to either use the google search or to only use one search term with the advanced search. Thanks,
