Changing hypertext link from URL to the name of the link/site, etc.
Hi Folks,
This is my first post in this forum. One of my favorite things about FT is having direct links right to other great resources. I usually just cut and past the URL right into the body of my message, but have always wondered how people rename these links as the name of the website, "click 'here'" where here is the hypertext link, etc.
Must be simple, but how is it done? Thanks in advance!

Basically, you would wrap some URL code around the text you want to link, like so:
[*URL=http://www.linkofyourchoosing.com]Link of my choosing[*\URL]
(I've included the * so that the code wouldn't actually function. You would leave this out)
That's all there is to it.

You would have gotten your answer if you had looked at Milepost #73 of the The NEW FlyerTalk: Helpful Hints, Tips and Suggestions to Enhance Your Experience thread, SFOTRAVELER.
I have not looked at that thread recently. Certainly, more helpful hints, tips and suggestions that are not already there could be added to that thread to help enhance the experience of as many FlyerTalk members as possible.
However, upon looking at that thread again, I realized that the information is simply posted there in no organized order. Therefore, I am considering giving that thread a makeover for the information in that thread to be more easily accessible.
Thank you for sparking this idea, SFOTRAVELER!
