Either I Can See The Future Or Replies Are Posting Before the Post To Which I Replied

I might well be clarvoyant (I always knew I was special), but I seem to be able to quote posts that have not yet been posted, or so it appears.

It looks like, at least in some instances, posts are not posting in chronological order.

Could you provide a link to a thread in which you are seeing this happen and we will take a look?

Thanks.

I am also seeing this.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=493177

My post at 6:22 PM clearly quotes the subsequent post, which is timestamped at 6:24.

A server hiccup of some sort, perhaps? Or an incorrectly-set server clock?

Edited to add: I think that my timestamps may correspond to the system time on my computer. Should the posts reflect that time, or the FT server time?

Just fyi, if it helps, my computer's clock is two minutes ahead of the "time now" shown on FT.

Looks like this is a direct result of some of the server issues we have been having. Evidently the times on the two servers aren't synched correctly at the moment.

Worst case: should be taken care of no later than tomorrow - Nov. 15.

Would the fix apply retroactively to all already-posted replies, or will it only fix new replies going forward?

Thanks!

Just FYI - happened right now again where my post (currently #39) was supposed to be number 41.
