Flyertalk not loading properly

My IT dept. just gave me a memory jolt on my laptop, and now FT doesn't seem to be loading properly. I'm not getting the lightbulbs, and some of the other graphics, like "Post New Thread" and "reply." I had to click around in the hopes of hitting the "Post New Thread" button, which I thankfully did. FT is the only website which seems to be encountering this problem. Any thoughts from you techies?

I'm going to go and move this to the Flyertalk technical issues forum as this isn't a travel tech related topic.

Thanks,

I'm seeing the same thing at work, and was yesterday. I thought it may be related to the images.flyertalk.com issue mentioned http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=445881 , but it was working as normal on my home computer.

I have had incredible difficulty doing FlyerTalk from home or from work.

Even after clearing the cache.

Images.flyertalk.com seems to be down. Or maybe the packets aren't being routed. Or something.

Here is the traceroute from my home:
Code:

traceroute to images.flyertalk.com (64.78.233.77), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets

I restarted my computer a few times, and now it seems to be loading properly. How embarrassing it would have been to call my IT department to fix FT for me!!!

It's strange, the image server is routing for some people and not for others.

Until we've resolved this we've switched the images back to the main webservers.

Thanks for your patience.

After two days of not getting any images or icons, everything's working well now. However...........now that the images problem is solved, still can't seem to stay signed in for a complete session on FT, as noted in an earlier thread started by BEY. Four sign-ins so far tonight. Clicking "Remember Me" when signing in doesn't help. How fast we are forgotten.
