Clicking on FT link from inside a thread
Has this changed? I used to click on a link and the new window would pop up and I thought I was still logged in. Now when I click on the link I'm not logged in on the new window.
Could be the difference is more notable when you're logged in vs not with the different options available up top, but I think it's different now.

Sometimes this happens to me too, sometimes it doesn't.
What I've noticed is when a new page opens without my User Name, when I go back to my main window and read posts, from then on, it doesn't recognize them as read. I have to click on "Mark Forums Read", log out, close the internet, log back in and then it starts recognizing forums as read.

I get this too when I am logged into www.flyertalk.com and the link is http://flyertalk.com (rest of path) - ie when the link has no www in it.
So I check each link before clicking (although for some FTers I know they always put links the second way).
